Portraiture Plugin For Lightroom Free Downloads
These presets are free to use in any personal or commercial projects. By downloading, you agree not to redistribute these assets.
1. Portrait Film
The Portrait Film preset is a broad-spectrum color enhancer that creates a natural skin-tone. It adds life to a bland photo, and it can tame an overly modulated photo. With small doses of grain and smoothing, it gives a subtle, film-like boost to the subject and the setting alike.
2. Honey Sunset
Shooting during Golden Hour is one of the oldest photography tricks in the book. Capturing the best light of the day is a free and fast way to create effortlessly beautiful images. Sometimes, though, experience or camera settings can limit the results. Use the Honey Sunset to introduce some warm tones and enhance a sunset photo or add some Golden Hour to a midday shot.
3. Muted Natural
Grainy, muted, natural tones, seemingly shot with vintage film and left in a drawer for 4 decades — this is a huge trend in social media photography and advertising. We can pull back just a little from the extremes of this trend and use them to create a muted portrait look. Use the Muted Natural preset to give a high-contrast, modern, or overly digital photo some natural life.
4. Monochrome Midtones
Black and white, monochrome, grayscale — these are all great ways to elevate a common snapshot into a pro-looking photograph. By preserving the midtones (which prevents the overly contrasty look of some monochrome photography), we can enhance the effect. This can give a less-harsh, more-natural feel to the photo, letting the viewer get lost in the sweeping gradations.
5. Dark Drama
The Dark Drama preset is more standalone. Think of it less as a fix-it preset and more as a change-my-mind preset. It can take a happy-go-lucky portrait into a darker realm, transforming the subject matter and adding gravity to the look. Use the Clarity slider under Effects to add or reduce the grittiness of the photo.
BONUS: Quick Teeth Whitening in Lightroom CC
Teeth whitening can be a touchy subject, but if you do it right, it can improve the overall portrait. Also if you’re using presets, unless you specify areas you want to change, the edits are global. You can fix this using the Brush to specify the area you want to whiten. This technique is simple, subtle (read: natural-looking), and reversible.
First, apply your preset and make any adjustments. We’ll adjust the specific areas from the post-processed image to retain the other attributes. I used Muted Natural in the example.
Now, on the right side of the Lightroom CC window is a brush icon – click it to activate the Brush tool. You’ll see the cursor change to a blue dot with a plus in the middle. Outside that are two concentric circles, the inner of which is the main width you’ll adjust.
At the top of the Edit pane is a Size slider. Move the slider until you make the inner circle the average size of the teeth.
To make a selection simply draw over the teeth. You won’t see changes until you adjust the sliders in the Editing panel at the right. Essentially, you want to maximize lightness, reduce darkness, and reduce color.
Below is an image where you can see how I did just that. These edits only affect the area I brushed, not the entire image. This way you can adjust underneath the Preset values, keeping everything consistent for a natural look.

Settings to reduce to nothing:
- Saturation
Settings to adjust case by case: Registry cleaner pro serial.
- Exposure
- Contrast
- Dehaze
Full disclosure: this model’s teeth are perfectly fine — they’re white in the original image. I added color and contrast to make them seem less-than-perfect so I could demonstrate how to whiten them.
